Project Color™ The Home Depot App Reviews

Crashes immediately on opening app. Too bad was looking forward to using in my new home to decide on colors. Disappointed hope Home Depot is reading these reviews. I am using my iPad OS 9.3.1

Heard lots about this app but it didnt do much for me, constantly crashes, cant find pics, it just flashes on and off and then nothing

Immediately crashes on launch. Doesnt work. iPad w. ios9.3. Uninstalled app and moved on.

Home depot was stupid enough to advertise this app on tv and amazingly did not even check to make sure it works! Keeps crashing! Youre a huge company! Fix it!

TBD we havent put the actual paint on the walls yet, but this app is like magic!!! Extremely helpful in figuring it which color / direction to go. Great technology!!

A little more time in development would have been better than all the money spent on commercials. Time to market was rushed, and the thing doesnt work. Nice concept. But I have officially lost faith in it, especially since it has never worked.

Works well but not perfect and glitches but its good enough

I downloaded this app to help us pick a color to paint the front of our house. I chose a light gray and all it would do was turn the lawn and trees dark gray. Great concept, horrible execution.

Was excited, but such a letdown. The app will open, but cant take or load pictures. Crashes when yountry.

It keeps crashing. Fix the darn thing!!!

It gives you a really good idea of the color direction you want to go in. The colors should be named and organized better.

I havent been able to use it...cant even open it.

I have tried two different colors two different rooms.....the colors you pick DO NOT turn out the same. Very disappointed....as now Ive wasted time and money. Not only was it not even close, I ruined my brand new front door that I just payed $300 for. Dont waste your time unless you want something close but not exact. And by close I mean in the Reds family/blue/yellow green ect. As far as an exact shade...dont bother.

Lots of hype and promise, but crashes repeatedly upon opening, no matter what type of operation you choose to perform. I expected more...not ready for prime time. Rating:

I just downloaded this app, hoping to make a decision about paint colors. I read reviews saying the app crashes, but I saw there have been updates, so I was hopeful. I couldnt even get to the second screen before it crashed, several times. I guess Ill go check out Sherman Williams, they have a similar app. Too bad because I like Behr colors.

App was working great when I first downloaded it! Now it opens and immediately closes when I try to take a photo of my room!

Would be nice if it worked but it crashes every single time I open it, no matter which selection I pick (see it, try it, etc.). So as it is, its worthless.

Cant even get past the Take a Picture option before it crashes! This app needs work! How can you review when you cant even work app? Had to give it one star just to submit this! Fix it please! Not worth getting until its fixed!

We used this for paint the first time and it worked great. We tried to pick out stain using it. We chose a dark brownish it came out peach colored. Luckily the Home Depot guy shows us mercy and we only had to pay for new brushes.
